Just recently, I watched Brokeback Mountain with my mom. I borrowed the DVD from my friend, Sophia. My mom covered the TV screen using the towel whenever there were nude scenes and I was fine by it but it really lessened the wholeness of watching it because of the "cuts". I hope you know what I mean. At the end of the movie, I wasn't really moved by it because I didn't see the WHOLE film. But whatever, it was grreeeaaattt!!! Heath Ledger is definitely a fantastic and wonderful actor. Forget about his past movies, which were in fact, bad, except for The Patriot and A Knight's Tale, of course. I really loved the latter when I saw it on AXN. He had really long hair then.
Also, my mom, my lil sis and I watched Walk the Line 2 or 3 weeks ago at Robinsons Ermita. The songs included in the movie were awesome. I really love country music, for your information.
My mom bought 8 DVD's yesterday and I was pretty excited to watch 'em all. Well, some of them.
1. Brokeback Mountain
2. Pride and Prejudice
3. Zathura
4. Goal!
5. Walk the Line
6. Everything is Illuminated
7. Jarhead
8. Proof
3 of those are Jake Gyllenhaal movies...what a coincidence.
Last night, we watched Proof and Jarhead. Proof was a little boring. Gwyneth was really scary in that movie. Jake, however, was not fit to play the part. He didn't seem like someone who's taking up a doctorate.Anyway, Gwyneth and Jake didn't match...they didn't have any chemistry at all. Sigh.
Jarhead was a really cool film. There were some nude scenes where you can see Jak Gyllenhall's naked butt. Oh please. Anyway, it was funny and cool.
The Pride and Prejudice DVD was broken so we had to exchange it with a better one. We still haven't seen Goal!, Zathura and Everything is Illuminated. I'm not really looking forward to watching those 3 movies.
We're going shopping today at SM San Lazaro. Just the 3 of us: me, my mom and my lil sis. I am certainly hoping that my lil sis would stop being a jerk/brat/crybaby. It really makes me wanna strangle her, you know?
That's all the rant I can let out for today. Stay tuned for volcanic Jessica.
