Gossip Girl
I'm starting to like watching Gossip Girl the TV series, not the books. The casting is sooo far from what I imagined while I was reading the books, though, except for Blair. Leighton Meester is the perfect Blair Waldorf. Blake Lively as Serena? I'm not seeing it, but she's a pretty good actress. Nate is sorta Ken doll-like. Chuck is still a jerk, but he's not that shaving-cream-commercial handsome like he was described in the books. Jenny is the biggest disappointment. She was supposed to have humongous boobs and brown curly hair, but the actress did not live up to it. She was blond and flat-chested. Total opposite. I guess Josh Schwartz was making the show more "kid-friendly", since Jenny is supposed to be a freshman. But anyways, I think I'm having adik symptoms now, so I better go back to watching. Update more later.

Pure Irony
I'm so effin' tired today. The 3-day Interscholastic Leaders' Awareness Workshop (or ILAW) was so ... BLAH. I mean, the speakers - Tony Gloria (director, writer, producer, advertiser), Sandy Prieto-Romualdez (CEO and President of Phil. Daily Inquirer), Team Manila Graphic Design Studio, etc. etc. - were awesome. It's just that the student participants from other schools were sorta like sosyalin, English-speaking, yadda yadda yadda. Well, it's Makati, people, what do you expect? The PCHS reps (meaning us - me, Christine Lee, Jamie Chua, Edardo Mercader and Alyssa Liu) were sooo OP (out of place). I think we were the only school who's non-sectarian there. Tapos kami lang pala yung Chinese school dun. Sabi nga namin murahin namin sila in Chinese para di nila maintindihan. Muahahahahaha.
Anyway, kakaasar kasi yung iba because they didn't listen to our opinion during group activities. I was like, "What color should this be? (Naki-English din e, no?)" And my girl groupmate was like, "What do you think?". I said, "Hmm... I think it should be yellow or orange." And she became quiet. Para bang ayaw niya yung suggestion ko! Basta alam niyo naman pag nasa situation din kayo eh. Tapos 'di lang yan. Basta parang ganun din ang nangyari. Naulit lang kumbaga. Kaasar kasi HELLO!? She asked for MY opinion tapos ayaw niya?! 'Di naman siya yung leader ah!
Ganun din daw ang nangyari kay Jamie yesterday. Her groupmates were asking for the Tagalog word of "move forward". Jamie kept silent kasi asar na daw siya nun. Tapos after several minutes, she (Jamie) said, "Tara na't sumulong tayo" (Slogan-making kasi 'yun eh), and her groupmates were like, "ANG GALING!!!"
LMAO. Yeah, that's how effin' bad they are at Tagalog. And the funny thing is, the theme for the workshop is "NATIONALISM in Media". ROFL.
Really. That seminar is pure irony.

mga cheap jologs wannabe
Gaaaawd. I just super duper loathe cheap wannabes. You know, those teenagers who constantly write in a "txt" manner. Look, you already know what it is. I don't wanna give examples because even typing them makes me cringe. Yes, I've tried so many times to type that way (to give some examples for you) , but I just couldn't. It would ruin me. I repeat. RUIN ME. Tapos there are also others who type in sTiCkY CaPs. Triple puke session. I mean, what the fuck. Are these people stupid or what?! Ok ok. I know what you're thinking. I DO type in a "txt" manner sometimes but only in my CELLIE and not on anything I can actually write on. I'm very practical so typing like that saves me some money. Sticky caps are an absolute no-no, though. I will never EVER write or type in sticky caps. NEVER. They're just plain tacky and idiotic. They make you seem brainless and robotic. *cringe* *cringe*
So, anyway, why am I writing this post? Because awhile ago, I just read a couple posts or so from other familiar people's bloggies (not saying who pero kung natamaan ka, then most probably it's you. HAH.), and I was in a mindfuck. My brain cells suddenly stopped functioning. I was in a daze. I just couldn't understand a single fucking thing the person wrote. Talaga, I was so clueless. Tapos I concluded na lang na stooooopid yung taong yun (again, not saying who). Kasi ba naman pati sa ibang bagay aside from the cellphone ganun pa rin mag-type/sulat!? Ano yun? ADIK!? Puh-lease. Tapos tapos tapos when you combine sticky caps and "txt" language, then it will become like:
I couldn't express it in a decent manner. Yeah, that's how mindfucking it is.
Sana naman tumino-tino na yung mga cheap jologs wannabe na yan. I've had enough, man.

Blah blah blah
Half-day (school) today because of some shitty blah blah blah boring Teacher's Day program.
Beware of rant overload.
First of all, why did the escorts and the SC officers dress up sooo formally?! Are we attending a fucking wedding here?! They outshined the teachers! I was like, WTF!!! What has gone to their fucking crazy heads?! Matagal pa po ang Seniors' Ball, helloooooo!?!!!??!?! Tapos it was so impractical! They were running around in high heels and super duper fucking long and tight gowns! What. The. Fuck. 'Di ba nila pinagisipan 'yon!? Tapos after the program they even complained about their fucking HIIIIIGH heels. SUSMARYOSEPDIYOSKOPO. Duh. That's their fault. Tapos the others even BOUGHT (yep, they paid real fucking money) the gowns para lang sa event na yon?! O.o They just showed up for the "red carpet walk" at least two times! We didn't even see most of them after that. They probably just regretted buying those crappy expensive stuff. Some of them looked cheesy, by the way. Total U-G-H.
The performances were so-so. We were like, "Oh. What's new?" Half of us were having siesta, I think. The other half were like staring like zombies. Like they were FORCED to watch the fucking "show".
So anyway, my friend Clarisa and I just made muni-muni downstairs at the canteen. I mean, who cares?! We'd rather walk around and enjoy the bad scenery that is our school corridors than watch boredom force itself waaaaay deep down into our already fucked up brains. Who cares, right?! We felt like we, among others, were the only ones sane enough to escape Blah Blah Blah Land. Anyway, I told Clarisa that we should explore our school para naman enjoy pero she said nagawa na daw niya yun. *makes puppy sad face* So we decided na we HAD to go back na (yeah, we HAD to. we were like forced, remember?), so we did.
Tapos we heard rock music coming from upstairs, and I was like, "Oh YEAH! Let's go up na!" After we were seated, I was back to being O.o Why? Well, the band was all right, same as usual. Pero I felt a bit embarassed kasi parang bumida na naman yung batch namin. Instead of TEACHERS' Day, naging SENIORS' Day. You get the idea. Pero that was a minor concern of mine. I still support the band (Greenhornz; Is it with a "Z"? I have no idea). Suggestion nga pala. Sana they change their set list kasi parang paulit-ulit na lang yung mga songs. Thankies. ^_^ (Oh man. For the first time while writing this post, I became tame. LOL)
The only thing that kept my happy hormones in place were the cupcakes. Yep, the cupcakes. I'm a cupcake fanatic, you see. *sighs* May araw din kayo sakin. HAHA. (The crazy bitch is talking to pastries, so what else is new?)
UPCOMING EVENTS: *3-day seminar starting tomorrow, on Thursday and on Friday at Assumption College. *CEU contest in November.

"This is officially a mosh pit"
OH MY GOD. Last night (SEPTEMBER 21, 2007) was the BEST-est night of my life!!! The Fall Out Boy Friends or Enemies Manila concert was, in a word, UNBELIEVABLE. Really. When I left Araneta Coliseum, I was speechless (and deaf), literally. I really sang my lungs out!!! I was screaming, shouting, jumping, jamming, rocking out, whatever!!!!! Patrick, Pete, Andy and Joe were awesome as usual, but Pete was the only talking to the crowd. Some quotable quotes:
"I don't care where the fuck you are. This is officially a MOSH PIT."
"Where the fuck are my Filipino boys!?"
"Ma-hal ko ka-yo" LOL
WAAAAH is all I can say. Their front act was Chicosci, by the way (I couldn't help covering my ears when they came out).
Hay grabe. They only played for, like, an hour. Aww. Pero sulit na sulit talaga. I went with my mom pero I didn't care what she thought kasi I reallllly ROCKED OUT!!! Pete even directed the audience to create a human arm wave. Basta parang succession. ANG SAYASAYASAYASAYA!!!
Ever since they came out on stage, I didn't sit. I was standing the whole time singing along to all their songs! I'm prone to sore throat, but I didn't fucking care! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them LIVE, and I didn't wanna regret it. The whole concert I felt like floating on air. You don't know what it feels like.YOU DON'T. Unless you also came to the concert. I still canNOT believe I actually SAW THEM in person. Kasi until now, I feel like, wala lang. Parang walang nangyari pero it had a HUGE impact on me. Fall Out Boy had a huge impact on me. They still HAVE. They've now become a significant part of my teenage life. HONESTLY. No exaggerating here.
*Sighs* Right now, I realize that all these words I've written here WILL NOT add up to the experience itself. It really was unbelievable.
Anyway, here are some *blurry* pictures from the concert.
Read the title. Ya, I didn't like it. It was too cheesy for my taste. If you know me really well, you wouldn't be surprised.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgen's singing became too nails-on-a-chalkboard shrilly. The plot of the movie was predictable, the dancing was all right and the rest... I don't wanna even go there.
Because of this movie franchise, teenyboppery became the "in" thing again. Oh gawd. *rolls eyes*

Pawned II
Ok. Here's the continuation. This time, I'm gonna spill the beans. I don't fucking care if she sees this post. She already knows why I don't like her.
Anyway, this is what happened: (Let's just call her Florita. Why? I have my reasons)
THE FIRST DAY: Student A: Patingin naman ng description mo sa yearbook. Student B: Ok. Student A: Sino pinasulat mo? Student B: Si Florita.
(I glanced at the paper and saw a few grammatical errors)
Me: Uy, may mali yan o. Student B: O? Paki-edit nga. Me: Ok.
(after a while)
Florita: Uy Elaine, ok ba? (She looked as if I'm gonna be impressed by her writing, but NO) Me: Umm... May mga correction sa grammar eh. Florita: OH!? (looking incredulous) Me: (looking uncomfortable) Oo. Florita: Ano ang mali diyan?! (demanding voice) Me: Basta. I-eedit ko na lang 'pag nasakin na lahat ng papers. (I'm the English editor of the Yearbook)
(I stood up to leave and passed by her chair)
Florita: Oi ano nga yung mali???!?!? (demanding voice; rolling her eyes) Me: Basta. Ako na lang mag-eedit. Florita: ANO NGA ANG MALI!?!? (she's trying to provoke me, but I ignored her. Para bang dine-dare niya ako.)
***I was a bit annoyed at that time, but I just let it pass.***
THE SECOND DAY: Student A: Uy, pagawa naman ng description sa yearbook. Florita: Ok.
(after a while, natapos na yung description. napatingin ako and I found some grammatical errors again pero 'di na lang ako masyadong nagsalita)
Student B: May description ka na? Patingin naman o. Florita: Uy, gagawan din kita! Student B: Yay!
(this time, andami ko talagang nakitang grammatical errors. i can't help it pero 'di ako napapakali if i see bad grammar. I dunno why)
Me: Uy, mali 'to ah! Me: Eto rin o! Krystel: Si Florita talaga o! Oy Florita, mali mali naman 'to oh!
Florita: ANO!?! Ano ang mali diyan!? Me: (feeling kinda embarassed) Ehh, basta. Student B: Oh may mali ba?! Elaine, ikaw na lang mag-ayos tapos dagdagan mo na rin. Me: Um ok. (kahit medyo ayaw ko)
(after I finished editing)
Student B: Salamat ah! Me: =)
(Florita looked at the newly edited paper of Student B)
Florita: Uy kahit 'di formal yung pagkasulat ok lang naman ah! Me: E kahit "di formal" yan, mali mali pa rin eh! Florita: Bakit mo iniba-iba?! Me: E mali nga talaga kahit hindi formal!
(I left the classroom) Here's the deal: 'Di ako masyadong nagmamarunong pagdating sa ibang bagay pero pagdating sa grammar, I KNOW if I see wrong grammar. It's just natural for me to detect it. Like I said, I don't know why, but that's a different story. The English language has been a part of me ever since I was young. Long story short. Anyway, the thing with Florita is that, she's so full of herself!
Bakit ba siya nag-vovolunteer na magsulat ng mga description ng ibang tao? Ano yun, para makayabang? Para mapuri siya ng ibang tao? As if naman no. Ang hangin niya talaga. I won't critic her writing. Basta sakin na lang iyon. I don't want to hurt her feelings even more. Basta ang issue dito is that she feels like she's more superior than me. She even provoked me, di ba? Di-nare pa niya ako. Good thing I'm too annoyed with her to even notice her. Tsk tsk.
Oh, by the way, do you remember this line, "Uy kahit 'di formal yung pagkasulat ok lang naman ah!" SUS. Between me and her, AKO ang reyna ng INFORMAL writing. 'Di ako nagmamayabang ah. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and informal writing is my strength. Ako pa ang sinabihan niya ng ganun ah! Oh gawd. She needs to know her "opponent" more before she says shit.
This incident was like the umpteenth time I've been annoyed with her. Pero once na she really MESSES with me, let's see what I'll come up with.

Pawned
Muahaha. I finally showed her what happens when someone messes with me.
She got PAWNED.
Yep. Buti nga sa kanya.
She was so "mahangin" that time eh. I mean, she was feeling all high and mighty and she even thought na at first, ma-iimpress ako sa kanya. PWES! Nagkamali siya. Napahiya pa!
The first time she did that was yesterday. I won't spill details because she reads my posts. Basta I was so fucking annoyed with her. I tried to shrug off what she was doing, but she was provoking me. She was daring me to fight back. I didn't because I knew I was just gonna fall into her trap.
The second time was this afternoon. I really PAWNED her. As in. Super embarassed talaga siya. Hay, ganyan talaga ang nangyayari sa mga taong masyadong nagmamarunong.
Oh well, I hope she learned her lesson.
Pag ginawa pa niya ulit sakin yun... Ha, tingnan natin kung ano ang susunod kong "PAWN PLAN".
Oh, btw. To "pawn" or "pwn" someone is to defeat or control them. Copy that in your slang book.
So basically, I defeated I'm-so-smart-I-can-kiss-ya-ass-that's-why-I'm-a-smartass her.

Ooohh... I read the English translation of the song "Vanilla", and I was like O.o
Anyway, "kering-keri" naman ni Gackt yung mga lyrics even though they're a bit blush-worthy. LMAO.
Gackt's voice is so.... O.O electrifying. hypnotizing........*too lost for words*
I keep playing this video over and over again. I just couldn't stop.
Kasi I was reading a manga (Pichi Pichi Pitch - full of fluff; bought by my shobe) tapos na-mention siya dun so curiosity took over me, and I decided to Google him. LOL. >_<
