It was my birthday yesterday.

It was, so far, my best birthday ever.

I got all my girlfriends together (Ghe, Jenn, Jan, Josie and Jenny), and it became so much fun because we had a ton of food in the house! Tapos we instantly went to "chikahan" mode. We caught up with each other, and exchanged thoughts about college and whatnot. It was very nice to see all of them after a looong time.

After eating, Jan called up their driver to fetch us from my house. We went to RP, and endlessly walked until our feet hurt. We were supposed to watch a movie, too, but Josie didn't want to do that. So we just went from store to store, and almost always bought nothing. There was a big sale, yes, but the prices were still very expensive. 600 - 1000 pesos for a simple looking shirt?! Heck no.

So anyway, I bought one shirt each for my shobe and my niece. They had these really cool graphics on them, and plus, they were sooo cheap! Tapos I got my mom a green blouse and three sparkly bangles as my Mother's Day gift to her. I wasn't able to buy her a present because of THE incident (you-know-what), so I tried really hard to find one that would suit her taste.

Tapos we went to Powerbooks. And yes, I finally got NEW MOON!!! Jenn and Jan got Twilight for each of them, tapos Jan was supposed to buy New Moon. Then I asked the counter lady kung may extra stock pa sila. She said wala na daw. Ang natira na lang daw is yung nasa display window and another one na dapat daw reserved pero the client cancelled it. WHOA. Sikat talaga ang Twilight series! I never expected it to be THIS big in the Philippines! Grabe talaga.

E tapos sabi na lang ni Jan na ako muna bumili kasi 'di pa naman daw niya nababasa yung 1st book. So thank you, Jan!!! =D Geraldine also bought the other copy because we've both finished Twilight. Yay! Now we've converted Jenn and Jan into Twilighters! Haha.

Hey, oo nga pala! I finally found Panic at the Disco's "Pretty.Odd."!!!! I got it full price, though. Aww... Pero it was worth it naman kasi I really wanted to listen to their new sound. Hindi nga muna ako nag-download ng songs kasi I didn't want to spoil my soundtrip when I get the CD.

Oh, yeah, GIFTS! Ghe gave me an awesomely cute stuffed bear, Josie gave me stationery, a card, a letter and a nice little crosstitch with my nickname "ELA" on it. I'm planning to use it on my college ID. Jenny gave me a cellphone pouch and a really cool skull keychain, which my shobe absolutely adores! Hehe. Clarisa stopped by my house and gave me a card and a bracelet, too.

Overall, it was a pleasant day. Compared to my past birthdays, this one had more of a "celebratory" feel.
